We knew executive women needed: a spotlight for women who might never ask for one, events where no one felt like they had to perform, a space where a VP of Revenue and first-time CFO could trade notes like old friends. It was hard to name it, but you knew the WW vibe when you felt it.

Every day since, we get clearer about what makes this movement special. And we’ve gotten clearer about the part you can play. Nominate a woman everyone should know. Amplify others. When we started Wednesday Women, everything fit into one sentence: amplify extraordinary leaders everyone should know, learn from, and be inspired by.

Over the years we’ve added: a podcast, events, spotlight series, the directory, new partners, and the Executive Membership. The mission stayed the same, the movement grew, and the website couldn’t keep up.

Today, with our new website, we’re:

Making the movement accessible - for everyone to take part in. Nominate a woman who deserves the spotlight. Find an expert for your next panel or podcast. Join us at an event. Uplevel your feed with weekly features and topical series. You don’t need a title or a membership card to Amplify Awesome.

Explaining membership more clearly - for executive women. We’re now in the second year of having a membership and are really finding our stride. Designed for executive women, by executive women, we can clearly say what makes us unique, who it’s for, and what it takes to join.

[Plus, cofounder Melissa is a tech nerd, so the site’s way more performant and user-friendly. We loved working with Luke Netti and building the site on Framer.]

A storied winery, with two of our Exec Members (Dallas Bradley and Lauren Larrabee) on its leadership team and a long record of women in leadership roles.
