The two most recent leaders we have featured are each pushing back on something everyone assumes is true. Do you think AI is coming for creative work - or is it clearing the technical hurdles out of the way? Do you think slowing down makes you less ambitious - or is it a prerequisite for success? See what they say below. 👇🏽
Pssst… We're also proud to announce that Wednesday Women will be a part of the WeAreDevelopers World Congress - happening September 23–25 in San José, CA. An established and pre-eminent developers conference in Europe, happening for the first time in North America… and we’ll be there. Not a booth. Not a networking small-talk event. But a space for conversation that anchors you, a gathering of women who lead engineering and product teams, and connection that lasts beyond the final keynote. See the full announcement below. 👇🏽
(And yes, we’re really into the pointy finger emoji today…)

"Every ambitious person I know (including myself) eventually hits the same wall. It's the realization that the pace they're running is borrowed time…

AI isn't the end of creativity. It's the unlock. Amy is Co-founder and CMO at Fullcast, an AI-native go-to-market platform that aligns strategy with revenue execution — three high-growth companies taken from Series A to acquisition, co-author of The RevOps Advantage, B2B CMO Top 100. She also grew up an Osmond: 12 shows a week, on the road with the family, inside a legacy built entirely on human creative work. So when she talks about GenAI, she's talking about her own people: "Artists of all kinds — like my family — are panicked… As a CMO, I've been using it myself to speed up my process and extend my team's capabilities. But I'm not in a panic." Her conviction: AI doesn't replace the artist. It removes the technical ceiling creativity keeps hitting.
The pace you're running is borrowed time. Dina is VP of Demand Generation at Mission — the AWS experts behind 5,000+ cloud and AI projects — with a decade-plus of building B2B tech teams and go-to-market strategies that move revenue. She's also the founder of Ambition Unplugged, a weekly newsletter for ambitious professionals who are done over-functioning. Her thesis, and the TED Talk she'd give: "Protecting your energy isn't the opposite of ambition. It's what makes ambition last." Her advice for anyone early in a decision around what comes next is simply to ask why. Growth or enjoyment? Do it. Guilt or fear? Spend that energy somewhere else.

And we're hosting a space inside it. 🎉
Not a booth. An actual gathering. A space for women who lead tech and engineering teams, at small tables, having the conversation you can't have at just any conference.
